There are several ways to accomplish this. They are simple, and seem easy, but they need to be repeated regularly in order for you to establish a routine. Once you remember to create a tone for your day, you are likely to experience the true value of your time.
1. Make a list of the three most important things you wish to accomplish that day. It’s important to not overwhelm yourself and only take on a list of tasks you know you can achieve that day.
2. Remember to include on this list your downtime regarding family, friends, pets and personal pursuits. Your life consists of more than work. We are all more than one we do. Don’t shortchange day by leaving yourself out.
3. Take personal time to go within your spirit and seek the silence and wisdom offered in meditation.
